Bengaluru and San Francisco-based AI startup Adopt AI has raised USD 6 million(~INR 51 crore) in a seed funding round led by Elevation Capital, with additional participation from Foster Ventures, Powerhouse Ventures, Darkmode Ventures, and a cohort of angel investors. The announcement marks the company’s official emergence from stealth mode, as it sets out to reshape how enterprise and consumer applications engage with users—ushering in what it calls the age of agentic AI.

A Vision Rooted in Automation and Natural Language
Founded by Deepak Anchala, Rahul Bhattacharya, and Anirudh Badam, Adopt AI is building a platform that allows businesses to embed intelligent agents into their existing applications without needing to overhaul core infrastructure. These agents automate workflows and execute complex tasks using natural language commands, effectively replacing rigid interfaces with dynamic, conversational ones.
“We are at a pivotal moment in how software is built and experienced,” said CEO Anchala. “For too long, users have had to adjust to the rigid workflows of applications. Adopt AI shifts this by enabling B2B and consumer applications with complex workflows to evolve into intelligent agents without the need to re-architect the stack.”
The Technology: No-Code, Conversational, and Fast to Deploy
At the core of Adopt AI’s offering is a no-code platform comprising two primary products: Agentic Builder and Agentic Experience. The Agentic Builder allows teams to design and deploy intelligent agents within hours by automatically learning the workflow of an application and generating task-specific actions. The Agentic Experience, on the other hand, replaces traditional UI with conversational interfaces, letting users complete tasks with simple text commands.
Currently focused on text-based interactions, the platform is already being developed to support voice command capabilities, reflecting Adopt AI’s long-term vision of creating intuitive, human-like digital interactions.
This agentic layer can be added to enterprise applications within 24 hours, compared to the traditional timeline of several months and significant investment required to build such AI-powered functionalities in-house.
Targeting Complex Workflow Sectors
Adopt AI is primarily targeting SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and B2C firms operating in sectors such as banking, healthcare, and enterprise tech—domains where user engagement is high and workflows are inherently intricate.
“Applications as they stand today will lose out to agentic AI companies unless they change,” Anchala emphasized. “We’re building that change.”
Funding to Fuel Product Expansion and Go-To-Market Strategy
The newly raised capital is being deployed towards core technology development, AI research, product enhancement, and team expansion. The startup also plans to onboard early customers as part of its go-to-market efforts.
“A significant portion of our funding is currently being invested in technology development, particularly in AI, R&D, and core engineering,” said Anchala. “While we will eventually increase our investments in marketing, sales, and brand awareness, our primary focus so far has been on solving complex engineering problems.”
A Veteran Team with a Proven Track Record
The startup’s founding team is no stranger to innovation. Anchala and Bhattacharya previously co-founded Slintel, a sales intelligence platform that raised USD 25 million (~INR 214 crore) and was acquired by 6sense in 2021.
Chief AI Officer Anirudh Badam brings over a decade of experience from Microsoft, where he served as Director of Engineering and Principal Researcher. Vijay Sagar, the startup’s AI engineer, spent 10 years at Google building machine learning systems.
The team has 16 members, with 5 AI engineers in the US and 11 full-stack developers, product managers and designers in Bengaluru.
Riding the Agentic AI Wave
As agentic AI emerges as the next big thing in AI—after generative AI—Adopt AI is positioning itself at the forefront of a new and fast growing industry. The agentic AI market was valued at USD 5.1 billion (~INR 43,633 crore) in 2024 and is gaining traction from both startups and tech giants like Microsoft, Meta and Anthropic.
However, while larger firms aim to scale the technology broadly, Adopt AI is doubling down on deep integration within specialized, high-engagement applications—a differentiation that has investors and enterprises watching closely.
“Adopt AI is at the cusp of a transformation in how applications interact with users,” said Krishna Mehra, Partner at Elevation Capital. “Their approach to empowering applications with intelligent AI agents can redefine user experiences across industries.”

Looking Ahead
With funding, a strong founding team and a clear roadmap, Adopt AI is all set to shape the next generation of human computer interaction. As more enterprises look to “agentify” their applications to stay relevant, the startup’s speed, simplicity and sophistication makes it a key player in this space.
