
Aequs, a leading precision component manufacturer in the aerospace industry, has announced the appointment of Jean-Michel Condamin as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Aerospace Division. This key leadership move will help Aequs to grow globally and strengthen its position in the aerospace sector.
Condamin took over quietly in late 2024 and has been providing strategic guidance and operational leadership to the division since then. With a career spanning multiple continents and industries – aerospace to commercial and industrial motors – Condamin brings a wealth of experience to Aequs’ global operations.
Welcoming the new CEO, Aravind Melligeri, Chairman of Aequs, said, “I am happy to welcome Jean-Michel to the Aequs family. His global perspective and industry experience makes him the right person to take our Aerospace Division to new heights. Condamin joins Aequs from Nidec Motor Corporation where he was CEO of the Commercial & Industrial Motors Division. Prior to that he was in senior leadership roles at Zodiac Aerospace (now part of the Safran Group) including Managing Director of Galleys Europe, CEO of the Galleys & Equipment segment and Chief Operating Officer of the Cabin Branch.

Condamin has an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), France.
