Annapurna Swadisht IPO description – The company is a manufacturer of snacks and food products, namely, Fryums, cakes, candys, namkeen, chips and Gohona Bori. Its key raw materials include refined flour, palm oil, spices and laminates. It is one of the largest FMCG player in Eastern India and is the fastest growing player in Fryums, Cakes, Candies, Namkeen and Potato Chips.
It has a unique price point of INR5 which makes it the dominant player in Rural Area. It sells more than 12 Lakh packets of products daily. The company has a hub in Asansol with constructed area of approx. 50,142 sq. ft. and a manufacturing unit in Siliguri with constructed area of approx. 35,000 sq. ft. It has generated employment to over 235 people.
The daily production capacity of the Asansol manufacturing unit is 15 MT of Fryums, whereas the daily production capacity of manufacturing unit at Siliguri is 10 MT of Fryums. Both units are well equipped with machineries and other handling equipment to facilitate smooth manufacturing process. Along with this, the units also have an in-house laboratory for testing the quality of products. At the end of 30 June 2022, the company operated both facilities at near full capacity and is in the process of setting of manufacturing facilities at Hooghly and Hawrah.
