Two of India’s top clean energy players—Suzlon and AMPIN Energy Transition—have expanded their partnership with the third wind energy project of 170.1 MW to be developed in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. This project is a big step towards decarbonizing the distribution sector and scaling up India’s renewable energy capacity.

The deal reflects the shared vision of the two companies: to offer affordable, reliable and locally manufactured green energy solutions to India’s Commercial, Industrial and Utility segments.

Suzlon’s Technology-Driven Execution

For this project, Suzlon will supply 54 of its advanced S144-3.15 MW wind turbines. These turbines on Hybrid Lattice Towers are designed for high capacity factor even in low wind areas. The project will add significantly to the green power in Andhra Pradesh and support decarbonization of the state distribution.
