Speciality Medicines IPO Description – Speciality Medicines is a leading pharmaceutical company engaged in the marketing and distribution of specialty pharmaceutical products, including high-cost oral and injectable medications for complex and chronic medical conditions. The company operates across therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, neurology, and rare diseases. Its extensive product portfolio, as of 31 March 2025, comprises over 900 products offered in multiple dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, creams, syrups, eye drops, gels, infusions, inhalers, injections, nasal sprays, ointments, ophthalmic solutions, oral solutions, oral suspensions, sachets, and suspensions.
The company operates through two integrated business models: (i) contract manufacturing of approved formulations for international distribution, and (ii) marketing and distribution of specialty pharmaceutical products sourced from manufacturers. Its distribution network spans over 20 states in India and more than 35 countries globally, including Jordan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Peru, and Namibia. In FY 2025, it had 9 clients generating revenue of INR 1 crore or more, 20 clients generating INR 0.5 crore or more, and 30 clients generating INR 0.25 crore or more.
As of 31 March 2025, it has 1 product registered internationally and 60 products under registration in five countries. As of 31 August 2025, Speciality Medicines has a total of 18 permanent employees
