CLN Energy IPO description – Incorporated in October 2019, CLN Energy specializes in producing customized lithium-ion batteries and motors and powertrain components for electric vehicles, including controllers, throttles, DC-DC converters, displays, and differentials. The company provides B2B solutions for various mobility applications, such as electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers, along with stationary applications like solar energy systems, energy storage solutions (ESS), and telecommunications. CLN Energy also offers unique and tailored solutions for diverse applications that utilize lithium-ion battery packs. Their products are marketed under the “CLN Energy” brand, encompassing lithium-ion battery packs, motors, and powertrain components.
CLN Energy operates two manufacturing facilities in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and Pune, Maharashtra. The combined setup has a cell grading capacity of 168 MWh per annum, a cell sorting capacity of 358 MWh per annum, a manufacturing capacity of 130 MWh per annum, and a battery testing capacity of 72 MWh per annum for two-wheeler batteries. For other batteries, it has a cell grading capacity of 41 MWh, a sorting capacity of 110 MWh, a manufacturing capacity of 115 MWh, and a testing capacity of 41 MWh. Additionally, the Noida facility can produce 60,000 motors annually.
CLN Energy currently has approximately 112 distributors for its products, which include batteries, powertrains, chargers, battery energy storage systems (BESS), inverters, and solar panels. Its distribution network spans several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and West Bengal.
