The company focuses on developing, producing, processing, and selling seeds for various field crops and vegetables. By combining traditional breeding methods with advanced biotechnology tools, Dhanlaxmi Crop Science aims to produce hybrid and open-pollinated seeds that offer higher yields, improved quality, and greater resistance to pests and diseases compared to naturally occurring varieties.
As of 30 September 2024, Dhanlaxmi Crop Science produced seeds for 24 different field crops and vegetables, operating across five states in India. The company’s diverse product portfolio includes seeds for crops such as Cotton, Wheat, Cumin, Bajra, Maize, Gram, Okra, Green Gram, SSG, Soybean, Milky, Mustard, Groundnut, Black Gram, Guar, Castor, Sesame, Jowar, Coriander, Red Gram, Green Pea, Multifeed, and Onion, among others.
As of September 30, 2024, Dhanlaxmi Crop Science produced 725 MT of raw seeds, including both hybrid and open-pollinated varieties of field crops and vegetables. The company had access to farmland across four states in India through contractual agreements with over 45 seed growers and organizers. It operated fully equipped processing facilities in Gujarat, with a processing capacity of 7.3 MT per hour and an ambient storage capacity of 2,000 square meters, capable of storing 5,000 MT of seeds.
Additionally, Dhanlaxmi Crop Science had 1,185 authorized dealers and distributors across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Maharashtra.
