Essen Speciality IPO description – Incorporated in 2002, Essen Speciality Films is a manufacturer and exporter of specialized plastic products in the home improvement and home furnishing industry, to renowned multinational modern trade retailers, such as IKEA, Walmart, Kmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Rusta, Runsven, Kohl’s, Kroger, etc.
The company’s product portfolio can broadly be classified into seven categories, namely, bath area, kitchen & dining, home décor, storage and organization, fitness and lifestyle, outdoor and utility, and customized products, which include plastic films, Spa slippers, Baby shower caps, green-house gutter sheet, etc. The company markets and sells its products predominantly under three brands: ‘Draperi’ for shower curtains, ‘Runner’ for shelf liners, and ‘Paperi’ for 88 artificial plants and placemats.
Essen Speciality Films supplies the products to 24 countries, including China, Saudi Arabia, the United States of America, Qatar, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Canada, Romania, Denmark, Poland, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Austria, France, Australia, Kuwait, Belgium, Austria, Sweden and, Mexico.
The company also markets and sells its products in India and its domestic sales for the nine-month period ended 31 December 2022 and FY 2022, 2021, and 2020, constituted 19.70%, 16.87%, 7.03%% and 4.83% of its total sales, respectively.
