Galaxy Medicare IPO description – Galaxy Medicare is a leading Indian manufacturer, trader, and exporter of medical devices, Plaster of Paris (POP) bandages, and other surgical dressings. Operating for over three decades, the company manages a diversified portfolio of 27 registered trademarks, including flagship brands such as POP BAND, POP CAST, G CAST, and CARETAPE. Its business model spans in-house manufacturing, OEM production, institutional government sales via GEM Portal, exports, and trading.
Galaxy Medicare has built a strong domestic footprint, supplying to central and state health departments, corporate hospitals, and private players, while also expanding its international presence in markets like Bangladesh and Nepal. Exports have consistently contributed a significant share of revenues, reaching INR 8.47 crore in FY 2023-24, up from INR 7.27 crore in FY 2022-23. For the half year ended 30 September 2024, exports stood at INR 3.93 crore.
With a workforce of 190 employees, the company focuses on continuous process improvements, product innovation, and cost efficiencies to meet global standards.
