JD Cables IPO Description – JD Cables is a leading manufacturer of cables and conductors, producing power cables, control cables, aerial bunched cables, single-core service wire, and various aluminium-based conductors such as A.A.C., A.A.A.C., and A.C.S.R., primarily for electricity transmission and distribution. Certified under ISO 9001:2015 and multiple IS standards, the company serves the electrical industry with products meeting stringent national quality benchmarks.
With a strong presence across states, including Assam, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal, JD Cables is an approved vendor for numerous State Electricity Boards. Its two manufacturing units, located in Howrah and Hooghly, West Bengal, feature advanced infrastructure, modern machinery, and well-equipped testing facilities. As of 5 August 2025, the company’s order book stood at INR 294.09 crore, indicating robust demand and operational growth.
In FY 2025, Unit I achieved 79.17% capacity utilization with 4,750 km output, while Unit II reached 81.18% with 17,860 km. Employing 32 engineers and skilled labour, JD Cables’ success is driven by quality manufacturing, timely execution, and long-term client relationships in power, infrastructure, telecom, and industrial sectors.
