Paramount Forge IPO description – Paramount Speciality Forgings is a manufacturer of steel forgings in India, offering a diverse selection of forged products. The company has invested in a range of machinery to enhance and diversify its manufacturing capabilities. It can now produce and supply forged components ranging in weight from 1 kg to 4 metric tons, available in both rough or finish-machined conditions. Paramount Forge manufactures a variety of forged products, including tube sheet blanks, forged rings, spacers, girth flanges, tire rings, self-reinforced nozzles, long weld neck flanges, seats, valve bodies, and bonnets.
Paramount Forge owns and operates two manufacturing facilities: one in Kamothe and the other in Khalapur, Maharashtra. Its closed die forging plant is equipped with two pneumatic air hammers, 2T and 5T, along with a drop forge hammer with a capacity of 1.5 MT. These tools enable the production of single-piece forgings weighing up to 120 kg.
On the other hand, the ring rolling facility at the Khalapur plant is equipped with an automated 3,500T hydraulic blanking press and a radial-axial ring rolling mill. This setup allows the production of a variety of forgings and can forge seamless rolled rings with a diameter of up to 3,500 mm, a height of up to 750 mm, and a weight of up to 5 MT.
