For the quarter ended 31 March 2025, Sambhv Steel Tubes reported consolidated net profit of INR 16.58 crore, a 57.1% sequential increase over INR 10.55 crore in Q3 FY25. This is a big jump in profit due to operational efficiency and demand for products.

Revenue from operations was INR 495.26 crore, up 34.2% year-on-year and higher than INR 369 crore in the previous quarter. This top-line growth is due to the company’s strategy to move towards higher margin value-added products.

Earnings per share (EPS) also improved to INR 0.69 in Q4 FY25 from INR 0.44 in Q3 FY25.

In a filing dated 14 July, the company also announced provisional sales volume for Q1 FY26. Total sales volume was 92,706 tons, a 49.8% year-on-year growth from 61,908 tons in Q1 FY25.

Structural Pipes and Tubes sales were down 7% YoY to 50,294 tons, but this was more than offset by good volume growth in newer, higher margin segments. Pre-Galvanised Coils and Pipes and Stainless Steel Coils, which are new product,s accounted for 29,423 tons.

Strategic Highlights and Footprint

Sambhv Steel Tubes is one of the largest ERW steel pipes and structural tubes players in India with a significant backwards integration model. It has two plants in Chhattisgarh with a combined capacity of:

  • 3,50,000 MTPA for ERW pipes and tubes
  • 1,00,000 MTPA for Pre-Galvanised pipes
  • 58,000 MTPA for Stainless Steel coils

The company has a vertically integrated manufacturing process where it produces intermediate materials like sponge iron, blooms/slabs and hot rolled coils in-house and then converts them into finished steel products.

The company has also built a strong distribution network with 43 distributors in 15 states and one union territory, and over 700 dealers across the country.
