Servotech has partnered with LESSzwei GmbH with an aim to develop 100% solar-powered EV charging infrastructure for micromobility solutions in urban Germany. This initiative, named “EnerMAAS,” will cater to the growing demand for sustainable transportation options such as e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-cargo bikes.

Servotech’s partnership with LESSzwei GmbH will create an innovative and scalable charging ecosystem that will leverage AI-driven energy management systems. These systems are designed to optimize energy usage and minimize environmental impact. The focus will be on transforming existing photovoltaic systems and energy storage into advanced street charging points known as BIKE-Ports. Each station will harness 100% solar energy to provide reliable and fast charging services around the clock, capable of simultaneously charging four two-wheelers at a total output of 3.3 kW.
The EnerMAAS project has received grant financing from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and is set to last for 2.7 years. Servotech will be responsible for the manufacturing and supply of these solar-powered EV charging stations, while LESSzwei GmbH will handle all aspects related to artificial intelligence and app development.
Project Highlights
In the initial phase, Servotech and LESSzwei GmbH will deploy the first 100 systems across 50 selected cities in Germany, with two charging stations in each city.
