Studds Accessories IPO Description – Studds Accessories is the largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturer in India by revenue in Fiscal 2023 and the global leader by volume in Calendar Year 2024. With nearly five decades of industry experience, the company operates four advanced manufacturing facilities in Faridabad, India, with a combined annualized capacity of 9.04 million helmets.
In Fiscal 2024, Studds sold approximately 7.10 million helmets globally. The company markets products under two brands: Studds, targeting the mass and mid-market segment, and SMK, launched in 2016, positioned in the premium category. As of 31 December 2024, Studds held a 27.3% domestic market share by volume and 25.5% by value. Studds employs 3,232 personnel as of 31 December 2024.
Studds exports to over 70 countries and partners with international brands like Jay Squared LLC (“Daytona”) and O’Neal. Its in-house design and development team of 75 professionals focuses on integrating advanced technologies, including Bluetooth helmets and rear-view cameras. The company distributes through 348 Indian distributors, OEM partnerships (e.g., Hero MotoCorp, Royal Enfield), e-commerce, and exclusive brand outlets.
