The Indian primary market is gearing up for an unprecedented rush next week. Beginning 29 September, a staggering 21 IPOs — 4 Mainboard and 17 SME issues — are set to open for subscription. Collectively, these public offerings aim to raise more than INR 1,540 crore, marking one of the biggest Tsunami of IPOs next week.

Big Ticket Mainboard IPOs
Among the highlights are four mainboard offerings, together expected to mop up nearly INR 853 crore.
- Glottis (INR 307 crore) will be the largest of the lot, with a price band of INR 120–129 and a three-day subscription window starting September 29.
- Fabtech Technologies (INR 230.4 crore) is another notable issue, priced at INR 181–191.
- Advance Agrolife (INR 192.9 crore) and Om Freight Forwarders (INR 122.3 crore) round off the lineup, both opening on 30 September.
These mainboard IPOs span sectors from logistics to agrochemicals and advanced technology — all positioned to tap into current market optimism.
SME IPO Frenzy
If the mainboard issues appear strong, the SME segment is witnessing nothing short of a flood. With 17 companies hitting the market, this segment alone is eyeing a fundraise of about INR 688 crore.
Some standout names include:
- Zelio E-Mobility (INR 78.3 crore), focused on the growing EV sector.
- Suba Hotels (INR 72.9 crore), riding on the hospitality boom.
- Munish Forge (INR 73.9 crore) and Game Changers Texfab (INR 59.1 crore), adding manufacturing heft.
- At the other end of the spectrum, Dhillon Freight Carrier and Sodhani Capital are smaller issues, targeting just around INR 10 crore each.
The diversity is striking — from biotech and dyes to logistics and capital markets — reflecting the widening appeal of public fundraising beyond traditional industries.

Investor Sentiment and Market Implications
Analysts point out that such a crowded IPO calendar may stretch retail investors’ funds, leading to selective participation. Market experts also note that sectors like EVs, hospitality, and specialty chemicals are expected to attract the most attention, given their strong growth narratives. Still, the sheer number of IPOs raises the risk of demand dilution, particularly in SME issues where subscription levels can swing sharply.
Outlook
The Tsunami of IPOs next week could prove historic for Dalal Street’s primary market. With 21 IPOs opening within just seven days, investors will need to carefully evaluate fundamentals, valuations, and long-term prospects before placing their bets.
As one market veteran quipped, “It’s a buffet of IPOs, but not every dish will be worth tasting.”
