Joonktollee Business Description – The company is mainly engaged in the business of cultivation and manufacturing of Tea. In addition, the company also has cultivation activity of Coffee and Rubber. Its tea garden area under cultivation is spread over 1,827.55 hectares in North East and South India. Its Coffee and Rubber gardens are located in South India.
Joonktollee has taken several large scale initiatives like, infilling of vacancies, uprooting and replanting of old tea bushes. It has invested in equipment like vibratory fluidized bed dryers, enclosed withering troughs, modern humidification plants to improve the quality and yield and monorail conveyer systems to save on manpower.
