The company focuses primarily on providing affordable home loans, home equity and construction finance. For Fiscal 2019, it made total loan disbursements of INR11,10,111 lakh. As of 30 September 2019, its gross Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) in terms of value and as a percentage of outstanding loans were INR40,059 lakh or 1.45 %, respectively and net NPAs in terms of value and as a percentage of net outstanding loans were INR14,506 lakh or 0.53 %, respectively.
Loans and advances from financing activity for Tata Capital Housing Finance stood at INR27,83,875 lakh as of 30 September 2019 while its marketing and distribution network in Tier I, Tier II and Tier III cities was at 88 branches. The company’s focus growth areas for the business are (i) affordable housing through increasing its reach into Tier II and Tier III cities, (ii) developing partnerships with property developers, (iii) leveraging the “Tata” brand and (iv) increasing its utilization of alternate business channels, including digital platforms. The majority of its AUM comprises home loans, including in the affordable housing segment. As of 31 March 2019 and 30 September 2019, mortgage loans (comprising home loans and home equity) constituted 88.77 % and 87.79 % respectively, of its AUM (Asset Under Management) while construction finance loans constituted 11.23 % and 12.21 %.
