- VPS Lakeshore Hospital in Kochi has performed India’s first wireless arthroscopy, enhancing surgical precision and sterility by eliminating cables.
- During the year ended 31 March 2024, the total income was INR 402.89 crores compared to INR 424.54 crores of the previous year, a decrease of 5.10%.
- During the Financial Year 2023-24, VPS Lakeshore Hospital’s net income decreased to INR 43.87 crores, down from INR 57.52 crores in the previous year. This represents a decline of approximately 23.73% compared to the previous year, indicating challenges in achieving financial sustainability.
- During the year under review, the company made a profit before tax of INR 55 crores as against INR 82.41 crores of the previous year.
- In FY 2024, INR 66 lakhs were spent on CSR, including INR 40 lakhs for “Ammakkoru Karuthal” (Care for Mothers) in Kerala, offering free medical care and surgeries to over 50 disadvantaged mothers.
- The company has also provided concessions in treatment charges amounting to INR 12.67 crore (INR 9.08 crore the previous year) to needy and economically backward patients.
