Bonlon Industries IPO description – Bonlon Industries started operations in the year 1997 with the trading of copper rods and copper bars manufactured by renowned market players like Hindustan Copper Limited, Sterlite India and Hindalco Industries Limited. In 2006, the company started supervising manufacturing activities of Colombo Copper Private Limited, a company based in Colombo, Sri Lanka which was engaged in the business of manufacturing of copper bars. Bonlon Industries imported these copper bars and started producing copper wires from the same on job work basis. With evolution of time, it gained experience in the manufacturing, trading, and marketing of the products made from copper. Eventually in 2013, it started its own manufacturing unit at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan for the production of copper rods. 

For attaining better business efficiencies, three of its group companies – Smita Global Private Limited, Harshit Promoters Private Limited, and Harshit Infratech Private Limited were amalgamated with core operations of he parent company in 2018.
