While Urea is exclusively manufactured in-house, the distribution network facilitates the trading of other fertilizers and agri-inputs. Notably, a Joint Venture oversees the production of Phosphoric Acid in Morocco.
In the fiscal year 2023, the company achieved a Urea production milestone, totaling 3.35 million tonnes across its three manufacturing plants in Rajasthan. These plants boast an aggregate capacity of 3.4 million tonnes per annum, showcasing an impressive capacity utilization rate exceeding 95%. All manufacturing facilities are strategically situated within the company’s complex in Gadepan, Kota, Rajasthan.
Furthering its commitment to innovation, the company has earmarked plans for a new plant dedicated to the production of Technical Ammonium Nitrate. This facility is set to have a substantial capacity, aiming for approximately 2,40,000 MT per annum, complemented by another plant dedicated to manufacturing around 2,10,000 MT per annum of Weak Nitric Acid.
Chambal Fertilisers extends its reach through an extensive distribution network, encompassing approximately 3,700 dealers and around 50,000 retailers nationwide.
